January in Junior Infants has been busy, they have been painting African animals after discussing them and reading about them.
In Aister, in the small world are the children pretended to be on safari adventure on the African plains. Great fun was had with the binoculars!
The children re-enacted the story of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' that we read with being introduced to the number 3 in Maths. The goats placed the part so well along with the troll guarding the bridge.
Number formation using mixed materials including playdough and sticks was great fun and helped the children develop their fine motor skills and cutting skills.
