Green School Committee 2025/26

Dear Readers,

The Green School Committee of Clonmellon NS are working on the theme of ‘Global Citizenship, Litter and Waste’. The school has already been awarded the Litter and Waste, Energy, Water, Travel and Biodiversity Flags.

The Green School Committee comprises of 2 children from 3rd to 6th Class

For our Environmental review we conducted a Litter and Waste Audit, Litter checklist,Waste checklist, Bin Audits and a Global Citizenship Awareness Survey.

The Committee came up with actions to inform the school community about Global Citizenship, Litter and Waste and ways to improve the environment.
