We at Clonmellon National School are so proud our our Boys football team who took part in the Cumann na mbunscol final. Unfortunately, it was not our day and the boys lost out to an excellent Moate team but the boys never gave up. The blocked, scored and marked their players and for this we are immensely proud. We had a member of the Association come to our teacher to commend the sportsmanship showed by our players.
We would like to congratulate Moate on their brilliant win. We would like to thank our Parent Association for their contribution toward the bus and to St Pauls GFC for treating the boys to McDonalds after the game. We would also like to thank Asa Brady for the excellent photos of the game.
